Cotton Slightly Lower to Start May -
Cotton price action is steady to 9 points lower across most contracts early on Thursday. Futures closed the Wednesday session with contracts backing Hogs Look to Thursday Trade -Lean hog futures posted Wednesday weakness of 62 cents to $1.175. Preliminary open interest showed some longs liquidating, down 3,311 contracts. Corn Higher Ahead of Export Sales Release -The corn market is starting off Thursday with 2 to 4 cent gains. Corn futures settled the Wednesday session with contracts up 1 to 6 ¾ cents, as Wheat Popping on Thursday Morning -Wheat is showing gains to begin May, with most contracts higher. The wheat complex bounced back to close out the Wednesday session with the SRW and Cattle Look to Start New Month After Wednesday Losses -Live cattle futures closed the midweek session with contracts down 60 to $1.80. April futures expired on Wednesday. Cash trade has yet to see much Soybeans Fall Lower on Wednesday -Soybeans are slipping with fractional to 3 cent losses early on Thursday.
